Job summary

iCapital in New York, NY seeks a Compliance Associate to lead AML and KYC reviews for private funds, collaborating with Legal and Compliance.

You will review investor documentation, perform screenings, and assist with audits, reporting, and new initiatives across business lines. Strong knowledge of relevant acts and vendor tools is required; ACAMS preferred, JD a plus. Office Mon-Thu with Friday remote.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of alternatives experience, preferably with broker-dealer and RIAs
• Strong knowledge of the Investment Company Act (1940) and Securities Act (1933) with Cayman AML regs
• AML/KYC regulatory requirements for private fund investors
• Experience with AML screening vendor tools (LexisNexis, World-Check, ComplyAdvantage)
• Excellent verbal communication and collaboration across teams
• ACAMS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Review investor and client AML and KYC documentation, client communications, quarterly reporting and ongoing monitoring
• Perform third party reliance testing and monitoring
• Collaborate across various business lines on new initiatives, providing compliance guidance
• Conduct AML screening review and dispositions
• Assist in preparing for and responding to inquiries and audits
