Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years radiology scheduling experience or knowledge of radiology terminology.
• Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, radiology procedures and preparations.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate imaging orders to ensure accuracy and dates of service.
• Transcribe and schedule imaging exams across modalities; maintain scheduling volume.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and staff clearly and professionally.
• Schedule multi-phase, invasive, and specialty exams independently.
• Coordinate with nurses, program coordinators, and clinical teams for continuity of care.
• Assist Ancillary Scheduler I/II with escalated calls and issues.
• Work within billing and referral workqueues to identify discrepancies.
• Provide backup for department lead and maintain workflow continuity.
