Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience required.
• Radiology or physician office scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone promptly and professionally.
• Coordinates patient care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Ensures tests and procedures are scheduled in the correct location with resources.
• Verifies insurance details and pre-certification requirements.
• Monitors scheduling reports for upcoming day and Epic downtime readiness.
• Collaborates with physician office staff to enter pre-cert/authorization numbers.
• Maintains accurate patient medical record numbers and coordinates with registration.
