Banner Health seeks a Senior Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician to join our remote pharmacy team, collaborating with pharmacists, providers, and staff at clinics to process renewal requests and screen patient charts.

This 100% work-from-home role requires daily availability across a seven-day week, potentially rotating Saturdays and holidays. Refill requests are handled via phone, email, or electronic messages using Cerner, Genesys, and Microsoft tools.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in your practicing state.
• 2+ years ambulatory pharmacy experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications and basic computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription renewal requests received via electronic messages, faxes, or phone calls.
• Screen patient charts for relevant information and document accordingly.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, providers, and staff at clinics and community pharmacies.
• Answer patient calls and process their refill requests accurately and promptly.
