Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Senior Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician to support clinics and community pharmacies from a remote location. You will process prescription renewals, screen patient charts, and handle refill requests by phone, fax, or electronic messages under supervision of clinical pharmacists.

The role requires ambulatory pharmacy experience, active Pharmacy Technician licensure, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold Pharmacy Technician licensure in the state of practice.
• Ambulatory pharmacy experience (retail/community or managed care) required.
• Strong communication and computer skills with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of clinical techniques and documents per standards.
• Uses procedures and experience to solve problems and choose best options.
• Responds to standard requests from internal and external customers.
• Prioritizes tasks and uses independent decision making based on knowledge.
• May perform clerical duties without license on full-time or part-time basis.
