Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer for the Additive Manufacturing team in Charleston, SC. This role leads AM quality activities, defines inspection techniques, and collaborates with customers, engineers and AM process specialists to implement quality tools for AM.

The candidate will oversee MSA, PPAPs, FAI and capability studies, write work instructions, and drive improvements across the AM manufacturing processes while maintaining AS9100 and NADCAP certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of quality manufacturing engineering experience or HS degree with 6 years of quality manufacturing engineering experience.
• This position requires ITAR compliance and the ability to work in the U.S. as a U.S. person.
• Sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Define inspection techniques, standards and guides for AM quality.
• Complete MSAs, PPAPs, FAI, capability studies, and gage R&R.
• Lead RCCA, MRB, and internal audit activities.
• Maintain AM AS9100 certification and NADCAP for AM.
• Attend customer design reviews, audits and visits.
