Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s IS AER FMC Aerospace division seeks a Senior Quality Engineer for Additive Manufacturing in Charleston, SC. You will define inspection techniques, support AM processes, and lead quality system activities across design, manufacturing and supplier interfaces.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering and 3 years of quality manufacturing experience (or 6 years with a HS diploma). Strong problem solving, GD&T, MSA/PPAP skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of quality manufacturing engineering experience, or HS diploma with 6 years quality manufacturing engineering experience.
• ITAR: U.S. person required; no sponsorship now or in future.
• Experience with inspection techniques, design reviews, and process validation in AM.
• Preferred aerospace quality tools and certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee creation of inspection techniques, standards and guides for AM and product development.
• Perform MSAs, PPAPs, first articles and gage R&R studies.
• Lead quality improvements, RCCA events and quality system ownership for AM in CHS.
• Maintain AS9100 and NADCAP certifications for AM and support calibration and MES initiatives.
