U.S. Bank in Tempe seeks a seasoned Fund Accountant to join the Alternative Investments team. You will perform fund accounting for hedge funds, private equity funds and other products, apply GAAP, record trades and allocate profits to investors.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of related experience, and strong accounting, analytical and communication skills. The team emphasizes accuracy, collaboration and timely delivery of statements and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in portfolio/partnership accounting, finance or portfolio management.
• PCS Investran and Cascade knowledge a plus.
• Thorough knowledge in accounting, reporting, and analysis.
• Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems with minimal guidance.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer navigation skills using Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide fund accounting for hedge funds, private equity funds and closed-end products.
• Record trade information, income/expense activity and apply valuation in the accounting system.
• Enter and reconcile investor contributions and withdrawals in partnership systems.
• Allocate fund profits to individual investors for statements and distributions.
• Review fund expenses and prepare audit and tax schedules.
• Support accounting, reporting and investor servicing with GAAP adherence.
