U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced fund accountant to join the Alternative Investments accounting team in Chicago.

You will calculate NAV, disseminate performance data, and act as the primary fund accountant across several relationships, ensuring GAAP-compliant processes. Responsibilities include recording trades, reconciling investor contributions, and preparing financial statements plus audit/tax schedules.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or business-related field or equivalent work experience.
• Five or more years of related experience in portfolio/partnership accounting, finance or portfolio management.
• Thorough knowledge in accounting, reporting, and analysis.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex problems with minimal guidance.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsabilidades

• Calculate net asset value and disseminate financial and performance information.
• Act as primary fund accountant on multiple relationships, ensuring GAAP-compliant functions.
• Record trade information, income/expense activity and apply securities valuations.
• Enter and reconcile investor contributions and withdrawals in partnership systems.
• Prepare fund financial statements, audit and tax schedules.
