Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an Alternative Investments Associate to join the fund accounting team in a role focused on accounting, administration, and investor servicing for hedge funds and private equity structures.

You’ll calculate NAVs, disseminate performance data, and manage investor contributions and withdrawals on multiple fund relationships. You will prepare financial statements, assist audits and tax schedules, and support expense analyses while ensuring GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Two to five years of related experience, preferably in portfolio/partnership accounting.

Responsibilities

• Calculate net asset value(s) and disseminate financial and performance information to the investment advisor and investors.
• Act as primary fund accountant on multiple relationships ensuring GAAP-compliant fund accounting.
• Record trade information and apply portfolio security valuations in the accounting system.
• Enter and reconcile investor contributions and withdrawals in the partnership system.
• Allocate fund level profits to individual investors for statements and distributions.
• Review fund expenses and process expense analyses.
• Prepare fund financial statements, audit and tax schedules.
