Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an Alternative Investments Associate and Accountant to join a team responsible for accounting, administration and investor servicing for hedge funds, private equity funds and other products.

You will calculate NAVs, prepare statements and distribute investor information in accordance with GAAP, serving multiple relationships with accuracy. The role requires a bachelor's in accounting/finance and 5+ years of related experience, with the ability to manage tasks and communicate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Five or more years of related experience in portfolio/partnership accounting or finance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary fund accountant on hedge funds, private equity funds and closed-end products.
• Prepare fund financial statements, schedules, audit and tax work papers.
• Record trade information, contributions/withdrawals and apply GAAP valuation.
