Bloomingdale's is seeking an Alterations Manager to lead all aspects of the alterations operation in our store, balancing craftsmanship with operational excellence to deliver a premium client experience.

The role focuses on developing and coaching the alterations team, partnering with store leadership, and driving sales, productivity, and quality. This leadership position supports our luxury service expectations and requires a strong commitment to consistent standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years direct experience; multi-brand experience preferred.
• Prior leadership experience required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours including day, evening, weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop alterations team, coaching, feedback and performance management.
• Collaborate with Store Leadership to align alterations with sales, service and business goals.
• Educate selling colleagues on alterations capabilities, garment fit, and opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
• Ensure timely completion of work, quality standards and delivery commitments.
• Monitor payroll, supplies and departmental expenses to support financial goals.
