Pacific Life is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst II to join the Asset-Liability Management team in Newport Beach. On-site 4 days a week with one remote day, you will analyze asset-liability cash flows, build forecasting models, and support enterprise investment planning.

You will partner with Finance, Treasury, Investments, and Accounting to improve reporting, controls, and decision-making. Advanced Excel, SQL, Python, and data visualization skills are essential to drive insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, treasury, investments, ALM, or related finance function.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated experience with complex financial analysis, forecasting, scenario analysis, and explaining trends and risks.

Responsabilités

• Prepare bi-weekly enterprise funding and cash reports; analyze cash flows, liquidity, and funding needs.
• Develop and enhance financial models and projection methodologies for funding and ALM.
• Prepare management reports and analyses; identify drivers, risks, and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Actuarial, and Investments to align forecasts with enterprise objectives.
• Maintain robust reporting controls and documentation to ensure data integrity and auditability.
• Improve analysis efficiency via process redesign, automation, Snowflake-based data solutions, dashboards, and AI tools.
• Support ad-hoc initiatives informing enterprise financial and risk decisions.
