The role requires 5+ years in enterprise security, hands-on Akamai experience, and strong knowledge of WAF, bot protection, DDoS, DNS, and certificate management. Occasional on‑call support and collaboration with CI/CD teams are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise web app, API, or edge security experience.
• 3+ years hands-on with Akamai security technologies.
• 3+ years knowledge of WAF, bot protection, DDoS, API and DNS security.
• 2+ years analyzing telemetry and responding to threats.

Responsibilities

• Administer Akamai and Imperva security services for web apps and APIs.
• Configure WAF protections, bot mitigation, and DDoS controls.
• Monitor telemetry, investigate incidents, and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate security into CI/CD and runbooks.
