Job summary

Loft Federal in Colorado is seeking a Senior Assembly, Integration & Test Engineer to join the multidisciplinary AIT team. You will build, integrate, test, and verify payloads and satellites, coordinating with mechanical, electrical, systems, software, and product teams to ensure flight readiness.

Responsibilities include environmental testing (vibration, TVAC, EMI), writing procedures, troubleshooting, and leading test campaigns from concept to delivery.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with TS consideration; Top Secret experience highly desired.
• 5+ years in a testing role, aerospace preferred.
• Experience writing, performing, and documenting tests.
• Experience with environmental testing (Vibration, TVAC, EMI, Radiation).
• Experience organizing test campaigns from idea to completion.
• Familiar with aerospace testing standards such as GEVS.
• Experience using software to test (Python preferred).
• Experience designing or building harnesses for flight or test.
• Experience setting up GSE for testing.

Responsibilities

• Build, integrate, test, and verify internally developed products for flight readiness.
• Conduct environmental tests at box and system levels (vibration, TVAC, EMI).
• Author and execute detailed test procedures; troubleshoot issues with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Collaborate across Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, PM, Software, and Product teams to ensure hardware performs as intended.
