Job summary

Loft Federal is a space infrastructure provider seeking an AIT Engineer to ensure satellites are built and tested before launch. You will work across Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, PM, Software, and Product teams to integrate, test, and verify payloads and satellites.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware testing, environmental testing, and cross-team collaboration to deliver flight-ready products. A strong emphasis on communication and documentation is required.

Qualifications

• Experience writing, performing, and documenting tests.
• Experience with environmental testing (Vibration, TVAC, EMI, Radiation).
• Experience organizing test campaigns from idea to completion.

Responsibilities

• Take satellites from test bench to launch pad, building, integrating, testing, and verifying products.
• Conduct environmental testing at box and system levels (vibration, TVAC, EMI).
• Author and execute detailed test procedures; troubleshoot issues; collaborate across teams.
