Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Senior Airworthiness Inspector in Savannah, GA. You will perform critical inspections, review maintenance records, and verify FAA regulatory compliance to ensure airworthiness. The role emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and adherence to safety standards.

Ideal candidates hold an FAA A&P license, with at least 6 years of inspection experience on large or mid-size aircraft, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of aircraft/component inspection experience.
• FAA regulatory knowledge and certification/approval processes.
• Ability to interpret maintenance records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections on aircraft and components within the Repair Station.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and inspection requirements during maintenance/outfitting.
• Verify airworthiness before flight and audit maintenance records for accuracy.
• Review FAA documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Assist RTS personnel to ensure timely aircraft records.
• Research ADs, SBs, and inspection status for compliance.
• Mentor technicians on documentation practices and quality standards.
• Support training of Airworthiness Inspectors and promote quality culture.
• Assist with testing, certification activities, and flight tests as required.
