Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a Senior RS Lead Inspector A&P in the Savannah area to lead aircraft inspections, coordinate QA/QC activities and ensure airworthiness.

The position requires an A&P license, extensive aviation maintenance and inspection experience, and strong leadership and documentation skills to support Special Missions operations from Brunswick, GA. Excellent regulatory knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 10 years aviation maintenance experience including 4 years in Gulfstream aircraft and 4 years aircraft inspection.
• A&P license (FAA) required.
• Strong computer proficiency with business, quality, maintenance and regulatory software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate inspections of aircraft/components to ensure workmanship meets quality standards.
• Direct inspections of repairs and alterations to conform to FAA data.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and inspection requirements during maintenance or outfitting.
• Maintain accurate, legible records of work performed on aircraft/components.
• Coordinate with RTS to ensure timely aircraft records.
• Audit maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion before return to service.
• Ensure aircraft/components are airworthy prior to flight activities.
• Mentor technicians on documentation.
