Job summary

Odyssey Systems seeks a Senior Airworthiness/Aerosystems Engineer to support AFLCMC/HBS/WIW and AWACS division. This full-time hybrid role is located at Tinker AFB, OK, with travel and steady collaboration across FAA, USAF, and industry partners.

The role requires deep airworthiness expertise, DoD acquisition knowledge, and ability to lead certification activities, develop certification artifacts, and advise program offices on airworthiness strategy. A TS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 12+ years of DoD or related aerospace experience.
• Experience with airworthiness standards and CDA-based acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Define airworthiness certification requirements and assess contractor compliance.
• Provide aircraft engineering insight for airworthiness development and assist the program office.
• Assess the viability of the system design to meet airworthiness requirements and resolve issues.
• Engage with FAA, USAF authorities, and program offices to establish compliance strategies.
