Odyssey Systems Consulting Group, Ltd. seeks a Senior Airworthiness/Aerosystems Engineer to support AFLCMC/HBS/WIW on AWACS and related airborne C2 modernization efforts. Hybrid work at Tinker AFB, OK with travel as needed.

Qualifications

US citizenship required.
Top Secret clearance required.
Bachelor's degree in a related field; extensive DoD/airworthiness experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Define airworthiness certification requirements and assess contractor compliance.
Provide aircraft engineering insight for airworthiness development and program office support.
Assess system design viability against airworthiness, safety and performance needs.
Define taskings, gather inputs, and report to the program office.
Familiar with CFR Title 14 and FAA processes for airworthiness context.
Understand DoD acquisition processes and CDA-based capability planning and certification.
Lead technical reviews and coordinate with FAA, authorities, and engineering teams.
