Job summary

Jobtailor in Seattle is seeking an experienced warehousing and logistics leader to oversee staff, drive performance, and ensure safe, compliant operations. You will plan, organize, and develop a team across shifts, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include recruiting, coaching, and evaluating employees, maintaining SLA standards, and generating weekly/monthly operational reports for leadership. A Bachelor's degree and 8–10 years of leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8–10 years of leadership and management experience within warehousing or logistics.
• Must possess leadership skills with the ability to train and develop personnel.
• Attention to detail: manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in operations, reporting, compliance, documentation, and performance metrics.
• Able to work across a fluid, 24/7 schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, lead and control staff to promote teamwork and a culture of pride in a diverse environment.
• Develop next level leaders and managers in leadership and management skills.
• Supervise staff to meet business needs following SLA performance standards.
• Ensure safety rules and standards are followed by Lead Agents and Warehouse Agents.
• Participate in recruiting activities, interviewing candidates and making hiring decisions.
• Assist in employee relations and conflict resolution; provide input for counseling and terminations.
• Maintain security compliance with TSA, USCBP, FAA and related regulations.
• Prepare operational reports weekly and monthly; generate ad hoc reports as requested.
• Complete injury and damage reports as required and ensure proper testing post-accident.
• Assist in providing data for compliance reports and audits.
• Maintain employment records and airport badge appointments as required.
