Job summary

Gulfstream Savannah seeks a Technical Operations Systems Specialist II to support the Mechanical Team in diagnosing and servicing aircraft systems. You will handle landing gear, flight controls, hydraulics, braking systems, powerplant, and other systems, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in aviation maintenance or related field with 5 years of relevant experience; A&P license and advanced credentials may offset the degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in aviation maintenance, engineering technology, or related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years aircraft related maintenance and operations experience is required.
• A&P license, EASA B1/B2 FlightSafety Master Technician and four additional years related aircraft experience may offset the degree.

Responsibilities

• Responds to in-flight emergency calls from operators and coordinates resources.
• Provides technical data and guidance to affect resolutions of operational conditions.
• Develops troubleshooting plans and guides customers on plan implementation and RTS.
• Directs exchange of technical data for repair drawings of damaged in-service aircraft.
• Reviews correspondence and coordinates transfer of aircraft components for analysis and improvement of Gulfstream fleet.
• Develops and updates troubleshooting procedures and test equipment for Gulfstream aircraft.
• Determines priorities for handling situations submitted to Technical Operations.
• Prepares customer bulletins, service notices, and other formal communications.
• Uses Lean methodology to improve internal processes and customer satisfaction.
