Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah is seeking a Technical Operations Systems Specialist II for multiple shifts. You will act as the primary technical liaison, diagnosing complex aircraft systems and guiding field teams to Return To Service.

The role requires strong knowledge of large-cabin mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, plus the ability to read engineering documentation and coordinate with internal and external customers. A focus on safety and compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation maintenance, engineering technology, or related field.
• 5 years aircraft maintenance and operations experience required.
• A&P license, EASA B1/B2 FlightSafety Master Technician and four additional years may offset the degree.
• Ability to diagnose complex technical issues and provide effective corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Responds to in-flight emergency calls and coordinates resources.
• Provides technical consultation to customers and internal teams.
• Develops troubleshooting plans tailored to operator/aircraft needs.
• Directs exchange of technical data for repair drawings and field support.
• Prepares customer bulletins, service news items, and other formal communications.
• Uses Lean methods to improve internal processes and efficiency.
• Supports customers and maintains Gulfstream fleet reliability.
