Job summary

Gulfstream Savannah is seeking an experienced Avionics/Electrical Technician 2 to test and repair aircraft systems, read schematics, and install electrical components per engineering standards. This role may operate on 1st or 2nd shift, requiring strong attention to safety and documentation.

Requires a High School diploma or GED; four years in avionics/electrical work or two years schooling plus two years related experience. FAA A&P license and FCC/NCATT are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret schematics and maintenance manuals.
• Experience testing avionics/electrical systems on aircraft.
• Ability to repair or replace defective wiring and components.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates skills in avionics and aircraft systems testing and troubleshooting.
• Installs and functional tests electrical/avionics components per specifications.
• Ensures installation quality and conducts timely, safe repairs.
• Repairs wiring using splicing, soldering, and pinning per practices.
• Documents work and complies with safety and quality standards.
