Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah seeks a Technical Operations Supervisor to provide strategic direction and technical leadership for the Large Cabin Mechanical Team. You will lead skilled technicians responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and airworthiness of large-cabin aircraft systems, including landing gear, hydraulics, and flight controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation maintenance or equivalent required; 9 years of related aircraft maintenance/operations experience preferred.
• A&P license, EASA B1/B2 or FlightSafety Master Technician certifications may offset the degree.
• Position acts as primary contact for internal/external customers and leads the Technical Operations Group.
• Requires supervision of systems specialists and oversight of AOG support to return aircraft to service.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage the group to CIO/Organizational/EIP goals and implement Lean improvements.
• Maintain efficient turnover/work assignments for after-hours/weekend and day personnel.
• Support AOG reporting and timely communications.
• Oversee employee development and performance evaluations; manage personnel decisions.
• Supervise systems specialists to ensure timely completion of department goals.
• Coordinate resources and vendors to repair AOG aircraft anywhere.
• Respond to in-flight emergencies with technical guidance and support.
• Develop troubleshooting plans tailored to operator/aircraft needs and advise on RTS.
