Job summary

Bombardier Aerospace Canada seeks a Technical Expert Engineering, Structures & Systems Design Integration to act as a key integrator and technical authority, ensuring seamless integration of aircraft structures and systems across the full product lifecycle.

This position is based at the Administrative Centre (CA) within Aerospace Canada, on a regular day shift, and leads cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, manufacturable, and certifiable designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 15+ years aerospace experience.
• Expertise in aircraft structures and/or systems integration.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5, ENOVIA, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of NX and Teamcenter.
• Design for manufacturing and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of integration solutions for airframe structures and systems.
• Define interfaces, installation requirements, and system architecture.
• Perform trade studies and optimization of weight, cost, and manufacturability.
• Provide technical leadership across stress, systems, interiors, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, and manufacturing.
• Coordinate with partners, suppliers, and Bombardier engineering teams.
• Support certification strategies and compliance demonstrations.
