Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Wichita seeks a Technical Integrator to lead the technical execution of defense programs. You will serve as the principal technical integrator across work packages, suppliers, and engineering disciplines, maintaining architectural integrity and defining project-level technical requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Strong track record leading cross-functional technical teams across disciplines and suppliers.
• Experience developing engineering requirements, design reviews, and product lifecycle considerations.
• Experience supporting certification planning, airworthiness and regulator interactions in aerospace.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to lead technical discussions at all levels.
• Ability to balance technical performance with schedule, cost and compliance in a program.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution of Bombardier Defense programs and act as principal technical integrator across work packages and suppliers.
• Maintain technical integrity of proposals, architecture, design solutions, and key technical decisions throughout the program lifecycle.
• Define and maintain project-level technical requirements and TRDs; translate needs into achievable requirements.
• Ensure technical feasibility, supportability, and compliance of proposed solutions.
• Oversee technical gate reviews and maturity activities (SRR, PDR, CDR, test readiness).
• Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and integration issues.
• Develop mitigation, recovery, and resolution plans for technical issues and supplier performance.
• Coordinate suppliers and manage technical evaluation, ranking, and ongoing technical management.
• Coordinate cross-work-package design integration for overall product solution.
• Support certification, airworthiness, and regulator interactions; coordinate with internal stakeholders.
• Support continued airworthiness and in-service design evolution; review modifications and procedures.
• Chair technical reviews and act as lead technical decision maker in reviews.
• Serve as primary internal/external technical point of contact for assigned program.
