Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Brunswick, GA is seeking a Structural Mechanic IV for first shift to build and assemble aircraft structures per blueprints and specifications. You will rivet, drill, trim, and fit components while adhering to FAA paperwork and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and about 6 years of related experience; Solumina and Smarteam experience preferred. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 years related structural assembly experience.
• Experience with Solumnia and Smarteam preferred.
• Q-stamp preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use prints, specs and operation requirements to complete work assignments.
• Mentor, train, and assist team members in interpretation of blueprints and drawings.
• Rivet, drill, and assemble structural components to conform to specifications.
• Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and operation sheets for sequence and tolerances.
• Maintain logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets, DMTs, PCOs).
• Plan and organize workloads to meet goal hours and schedules.
