Job summary

Chipton-Ross Inc. is seeking a Designer III for a contract opportunity in Gainesville, TX. The role focuses on design coordination of seats and seat components, interfacing with customers, vendors, and Program Managers to ensure design progress and regulatory conformance.

The candidate will review requirements, prepare layouts and BOMs, and assist in defining design standards while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (minimum 12 years equivalent experience considered).
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field may substitute for degree requirements.
• Strong drafting skills with CATIA V5 (or higher) and/or Pro/Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design of seats and seat components with customers and vendors.
• Interface with Program Manager on project development and design progress.
• Review customer requirements and translate to product design.
