Oliver Wyman Vector is an experienced Lead Aircraft Technical Specialist to audit maintenance records and deliver high-quality analytics for clients. This role blends deep technical expertise with workstream leadership and client engagement.

You will lead workstreams, mentor specialists, and act as a quality approver for deliverables while ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to processes. Travel nationally and internationally.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in aircraft records or as an aircraft technical representative.
• Deep understanding of applicable Federal or National Aviation Authority regulations concerning aircraft, engines, and appliances.
• 6+ years performing relevant responsibilities with a Part 121 carrier.
• Ability to mentor and develop others in the technical focus area.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven approaches.
• High attention to detail when manipulating large data sets.
• Experience with data management and auditing processes.
• Proficient in MS Office products, especially Excel, Outlook and Word.

Aufgaben

• Lead technical analyses and supervise junior team members with clear direction.
• Audit and verify Airworthiness Directives and methods of compliance.
• Determine applicability of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
• Verify time since new and time on life-limited parts and components.
• Perform back-to-birth traceability for life-limited components.
• Verify documentation for sign-off, certificates, NDT records, and vendor approvals.
• Research and resolve aircraft-records issues and escalate when needed.
• Analyze and review repair records for installation and compliance.
• Evaluate STCs for installation and compliance.
• Utilize deep technical knowledge and databases to develop client solutions.
• Use maintenance tracking systems (Wizard, Merlin, Trax, Maintenix, AMOS) for research and data input.
• Remain involved in high-risk work while delegating routine production.
• Aircraft Technical Representative duties require prior maintenance experience and quality background.
