Job summary

Saab is seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector in Ashburn, VA to support regional airline customers. You will join the Quality team, ensuring parts meet FAA/EASA rules and are released under POA, while aiding the warehouse and reporting in ERP systems.

Required are 7+ years’ experience, a high school diploma (associate preferred), Hazmat certification, and strong organizational, communication, and safety skills. Expect occasional after-hours calls and travel for audits.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required, associate degree preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with tools, software and other technologies.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound and outbound shipments of aircraft parts.
• Verify certification documents per FAA/EASA regulations.
• Release parts per Production Organization Approval (POA).
• Participate in periodic audits of the Quality System by Saab and authorities.
• Contribute to Warehouse Team and perform warehouse duties.
• Occasional after-hours on-call to support regional customers.
• Perform data transactions in ERP system.
• Maintain Hazmat database and monitor shelf-life material.
• Travel to audit customer consignment inventories.
