Airbus Americas Customer Services, Inc. in Sterling, VA (near Dulles) seeks a Certifying Staff Quality Management Inspector to join our QA team. You will ensure compliance with FAA/EASA Part 21 and lead inspections for aerospace components and GSE tools.

The role requires an A&P license or military equivalent, 5+ years in aircraft maintenance, and strong knowledge of aerospace quality control, with the ability to read engineering drawings and work on SAP QM processes.

Qualifications

• A&P license or Military Maintenance Certification required.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in aircraft operations.
• Familiarity with aerospace quality control and QA systems.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, schematics and ICA operating.

Responsabilités

• Inspect finished aerospace products for FAA/EASA Part 21 conformance.
• Perform first article inspections on aerospace components and GSE tools.
• Maintain material batch and manufacturer traceability information.
• Review and approve aerospace articles under FAA/EASA Part 145 regulations.
• Issue EASA Form 1’s on all outgoing NEW Material.
• Interface with SAP for Quality Management data.
• Represent the Quality Management Department during internal meetings and cross-functional programs.
