Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating Americas, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Program Manager II to lead complex aircraft seat programs from handover through closure.

You will manage cost, schedule and scope while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance, mentoring junior PMs and coordinating with OEMs. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5+ years in program management, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Master’s is a plus.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a Program Management role.
• Knowledge of FAA certification procedures for commercial aircraft seats.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex programs from sales handover to program closure with full cost, timeline, scope and quality control.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and budgets using standard tools.
• Coordinate with OEMs, customers and internal teams to meet due dates.
• Lead program meetings, manage change proposals, and maintain program documentation.
• Mentor Assistant PMs and Program Managers, coach teams on processes.
• Ensure compliance with FAA/certification requirements and safety standards.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
