Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to lead the systems engineering effort for a Group 5 autonomous aircraft. The role focuses on shaping air vehicle and subsystem requirements in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and developing a digital-thread system model.

You will drive system architecture with input from safety, software, and other disciplines, and shepherd the program through System Requirements, Preliminary Design, and Critical Design reviews.

Qualifications

• BS in aerospace, mechanical, computer science or similar engineering field.
• 12+ years Systems Engineering Experience across the life cycle for an UAS with focus on aircraft systems.
• Experience with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP or similar.
• Experience developing subsystem and component requirements and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Shape customer needs into air vehicle and subsystem requirements with multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop System Engineering artifacts and system model to trace inputs through design in a digital thread.
• Lead system engineering reviews: System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review.
• Communicate and manage program risks with Chief Engineer and Program Management.
