West Star Aviation Inc. seeks a Lead Aircraft Paint Technician for 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN. You will lead the paint team, manage work orders, document log books, and direct project flow in a fast-paced hangar.

This role requires extensive painting experience, strong leadership, and adherence to FAA guidelines. Benefits include a 10-15% shift premium, paid lunch, 401(k) match, and weekly pay.

Formación

• This position requires 8+ years’ experience in painting aircraft, autobody, RV or marine work.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver's license is ideal for travel to work sites.
• Strong English communication and safety awareness are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day production crew to meet scheduling demands.
• Coordinate schedule with other departments.
• Train team members to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Schedule with parts department to ensure materials availability.
• Assist in final inspection of aircraft.
• Maintain the paint shop and facilities in a clean, orderly manner.
• Communicate effectively in English and supervise assigned tasks.
