West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Paint Technician for the 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN. The position involves painting aircraft, masking, sanding, and applying base coats to achieve high-quality finishes. The role offers a 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3pm-1am) with a 10-15% premium, paid lunch, and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vo-tech preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work on-site in Chattanooga, TN.
• Willingness to work second shift and follow FAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Masking and taping aircraft parts to avoid overspray.
• Sanding primer and paint prep work.
• Applying all layers of paint including top coat.
• Mixing paints and color matching.
• Inspecting completed paint jobs for quality.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicating clearly with team members and supervisors.
• Following all safety and company policies.
