Job summary

AAR Corp. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Shift Supervisor for Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. The role leads contractor personnel on the on-duty shift, coordinates maintenance priorities, enforces safety and quality standards, and ensures tasks follow the Work Statement and government directions.

The Shift Supervisor reports to the Site Manager, communicates aircraft status and staffing constraints, and ensures readiness of maintenance actions across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Three (3) years’ experience supervising aircraft maintenance is strongly preferred.
• Five (5) years’ experience and knowledge of aircraft overhaul trades and labor work.

Responsibilities

• Serve as direct supervisor for all Contractor personnel on the on-duty shift and maintain accountability for personnel, work assignments, production status, safety compliance, and shift turnover.
• Report to the Site Manager and keep them informed of shift performance, manpower status, maintenance progress, risks, constraints, and schedule changes.
• Coordinate daily shift priorities with Government Maintenance Control and Government representatives.
• Assign and monitor Contractor personnel performing maintenance, inspections, and related tasks.
• Ensure work is performed per the Performance Work Statement, manuals, and safety requirements.
• Maintain shift discipline and ensure proper PPE, access control, and security compliance.
