Job summary

AAR Corp. seeks a Shift Supervisor at Naval Air Station Jacksonville to lead the on-duty contractor team.

You will direct daily shift execution, monitor safety and quality, and communicate status to the Project Site Manager and government representatives. The role requires at least 8 years in aircraft maintenance, with supervisory experience, strong knowledge of Navy maintenance programs, and ability to coordinate with Government Maintenance Control and QA.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated aviation maintenance supervisory experience in military/government/contractor environments.
• Technical knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance data, and procedures.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel across scheduled/unscheduled tasks.
• Working knowledge of Naval Aviation Maintenance Program and related standards.
• Ability to coordinate priorities and communicate status to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of all contractor personnel on duty and maintain accountability.
• Report performance, risks, material constraints, and schedule changes to the Project Site Manager.
• Coordinate daily shift priorities with Government Maintenance Control and QA.
• Assign and monitor personnel for P-8A maintenance, inspections, and support tasks.
• Ensure work adheres to safety, security, and documentation requirements.
