Job summary

AAR Corp. is seeking a Site Manager (Aircraft Maintenance) to lead the onsite contractor team at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. You will coordinate maintenance, quality, logistics, and admin functions as the primary contractor contact with government reps.

Strong leadership and deep MRO knowledge are essential. The role emphasizes staffing, performance, and regulatory compliance, with responsibilities spanning task order execution, deliverables, and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience supervising aircraft maintenance.
• At least ten (10) years’ experience and knowledge of aircraft overhaul trades and labor work.
• Experience overseeing MRO operations on multi-engine aircraft is strongly preferred.
• Military aviation experience is preferred.
• Proficient personal computer skills to include a strong working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior onsite Contractor representative and maintain daily communication with the Contracting Officer’s Representative.
• Lead task order execution and ensure all Contractor personnel perform work in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and safety requirements.
• Own, coordinate, prepare, review, and submit all Contractor deliverables and reports.
• Manage the onsite workforce to maintain shift coverage and training records.
• Oversee day-to-day maintenance production priorities and coordinate schedule changes.
• Ensure contractor inspections and final work package reviews occur before government acceptance.
• Monitor quality, corrective actions, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate site-specific operating instructions and audits.
