Job summary

Embraer is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist III in Melbourne, FL to oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for assigned aircraft, ensuring airworthiness and regulatory compliance. You will serve as the primary liaison between maintenance, flight operations, engineering and sales to ensure aircraft readiness.

Required 5+ years in aviation maintenance and sales/customer service, with an A&P license and a related degree.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in a related field is required.
• A P & license is required.
• Highly developed technical knowledge of aircraft turbine engines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all maintenance activities for assigned aircraft.
• Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives and service bulletins.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using CAMP and related systems.
• Oversee entry into service, acceptance inspections, and MEL monitoring.
• Liaise with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to meet customer and company needs.
• Support AOG coordination and timely return to service.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and service centers.
