Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform routine or special maintenance inspections to prevent failure of avionics systems and components; conduct checks on navigation, communication and flight control systems.
• Determine when a component should be repaired or replaced; plan repair schemes and parts requirements.
• Follow FAA-approved procedures, OEM data, and work package instructions.
• Inspect completed work and perform rework to meet standards and tolerances.
• Perform serviceability tests on repaired components/systems using OEM test equipment.
• Complete work package documentation by signing off after operations.
