Job summary

Republic Airways is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead hangar-based aircraft maintenance operations, ensuring cost-effective, reliable performance in line with FAA, GMM, and OSHA standards.

You will oversee staffing, scheduling, and training, coordinate with vendors, and ensure accurate reporting of aircraft status to Maintenance Control. Strong leadership and compliance focus required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
• 8 years A&P experience on similar aircraft with at least three in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manages mechanics in maintenance operations in compliance with 14 CFR, GMM, policies and OSHA.
• Develops schedules to meet operation demands and prioritizes work.
• Ensures proper staffing levels are maintained and oversees training.
• Coordinates with vendors and ensures timely provision of services and materials.
• Maintains accurate aircraft status information and communication with Maintenance Control.
• Screens and hires potential employees; provides leadership and performance feedback.
• Maintains safety training and enforces OSHA guidelines.
