Job summary

Kalitta Air, Llc is seeking an experienced Lead Aircraft MX Technician for the 3rd shift in Oscoda, MI. The role requires coordinating daily tasks with the supervisor, leading station personnel, and ensuring all maintenance actions follow approved data such as AMM and SRM.

FAA A&P license is required, with a minimum of five years in aircraft maintenance. The position is full-time and based on-site in Oscoda, with overtime and weekend work expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to work overtime, weekends & days off.
• FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant license required.
• Experience leading a maintenance team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Supervisor/Foreman for daily task scheduling and assignment.
• Lead and direct crew in performance of tasks to ensure productivity and quality.
• Document maintenance discrepancies identified during tasks.
• Troubleshoot and assist in determining proper maintenance actions.
• Assist crew with interpreting maintenance manuals and SRMs.
• Ensure all maintenance actions comply with AMM/SRM/CMMs/WDM/Service Bulletins/EAs; document actions.
