Job summary

Kalitta Air seeks an experienced Lead Aircraft MX Technician for the 3rd shift in Oscoda, MI. The role supervises line maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to AMM and SRM procedures, and coordinating with the Line MX Supervisor on daily work priorities.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, and an FAA license. Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and meet safety requirements in a loud maintenance environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required with at least 5 years of maintenance experience on commercial aircraft.
• Must possess FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant license as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Supervisor/Foreman to schedule daily tasks.
• Lead crewmembers and ensure quality and productivity.
• Document maintenance discrepancies and ensure proper reporting.
• Troubleshoot and determine maintenance actions when discrepancies arise.
• Provide OJT and oversee training needs of subordinates.
