Job summary

Kalitta Air, LLC seeks a Lead Aircraft MX Technician for the 3rd shift in Oscoda, MI. You will coordinate daily tasks with supervision, lead crewmembers, and ensure maintenance activities follow approved data and procedures.

Qualifications include FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant license, high school diploma, and a minimum of five years in maintenance on commercial aircraft. English proficiency is required; overtime and weekend work are expected.

Qualifications

FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant license required.
5 years min. experience in maintenance and repair on commercial category aircraft.
Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with the Supervisor / Foreman for scheduling and assignment of daily job tasks.
Lead and direct subordinate crewmembers in the performance of job tasks; ensure productivity and quality.
Ensure maintenance discrepancies are documented.
Perform troubleshooting; assist in determining proper maintenance action.
Assist crewmembers with interpreting maintenance manuals or SRM instructions.
Ensure maintenance actions follow approved data (AMM, SRM, CMMs, WDM, Service Bulletins, EAs).
Provide OJT to subordinate crewmembers.
Provide oversight and assist in identifying training needs.
Assist in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.
Identify safety-related deficiencies with supervision.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Foreman.
