Kalitta Air, Llc in Oscoda, MI is seeking a Lead Avionics Technician for the 2nd shift on weekends. This full-time role leads a crew, assigns daily tasks, and ensures maintenance work complies with AMM/SRM data and approved manuals.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in heavy aircraft avionics, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to train others. FAA Airframe & Powerplant license is preferred; high school diploma with some college acceptable.

Competenze

• 2+ years experience in heavy aircraft avionics systems.
• Ability to read, write and understand English; document maintenance work.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant license preferred; Airframe license or repairman certificate acceptable.

Mansioni

• Lead, direct, and oversee the work of subordinate crewmembers.
• Coordinate daily task scheduling with Supervisor/Foreman.
• Ensure productivity and work quality meet standards.
• Document identified maintenance discrepancies.
• Perform troubleshooting to determine proper maintenance actions.
• Assist crewmembers with interpreting maintenance data (AMM/SRM).
• Ensure maintenance actions comply with AMM/SRM/CMMs and related data.
