Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with 25+ years in aviation to provide technical leadership in maintenance, airworthiness management, and asset preservation. The role involves supporting airlines, lessors, MROs, and regulators worldwide, with emphasis on compliance and program oversight.

The candidate will oversee maintenance planning, asset management, and transition projects, mentoring engineers and interfaces with authorities and OEMs. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering is required.
• 7–10 years of commercial aviation maintenance experience.
• Experience with aircraft deliveries, redeliveries, lease transitions, and technical asset management.

Responsibilities

• Lead aircraft maintenance and airworthiness activities to ensure regulatory compliance and approved maintenance programs.
• Review and assess aircraft maintenance status, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Provide technical oversight for maintenance planning, heavy maintenance events, structural inspections, and modification programs.
• Monitor aircraft performance to identify reliability and maintenance improvement opportunities.
• Support entry-into-service and return-to-service activities.
• Manage technical aspects of deliveries, redeliveries, lease returns, acquisitions, and repossessions.
• Conduct inspections and records reviews during transition projects.
• Coordinate acceptance inspections, defect rectification, and contractual compliance.
