Job summary

GE Aerospace in Cincinnati, OH, seeks an experienced engineer to lead advanced aircraft engine controls programs for Military Advanced Technology and NPI initiatives. You will drive system-level design, architecture, and validation across software and hardware domains to deliver safe, reliable, and high-performance propulsion solutions.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate cross-functional teams, and apply FLIGHT DECK fundamentals to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost while interacting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in aircraft engine controls systems and software development.
• This role requires U.S. citizenship or eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical program execution for engine controls initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across systems, software, hardware, and mechanical design.
• Drive FLIGHT DECK outcomes to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
• Develop controls requirements, architecture, design, integration, validation, and release activities.
• Mentor engineers and maintain strong customer relationships.
