Job summary

GE Aerospace in Cincinnati, OH, seeks an experienced engineer to lead advanced aircraft engine controls programs for Military Advanced Technology and NPI initiatives. You will drive system-level design, architecture, and validation across software and hardware domains to deliver safe, reliable, and high-performance propulsion solutions.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate cross-functional teams, and apply FLIGHT DECK fundamentals to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost while interacting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in aircraft engine controls systems and software development.
This role requires U.S. citizenship or eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead technical program execution for engine controls initiatives.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across systems, software, hardware, and mechanical design.
Drive FLIGHT DECK outcomes to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
Develop controls requirements, architecture, design, integration, validation, and release activities.
Mentor engineers and maintain strong customer relationships.
