Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a senior engineer to lead technical program execution for advanced aircraft engine controls supporting Military Advanced Technology and New Product Introduction programs. The role spans from early science to validation and release of next-generation engine controls for military applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience related to aircraft engine controls systems and software development.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain US Government security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical program execution for aircraft engine controls initiatives for Military Advanced Technology and NPI programs.
• Coordinate across systems, software, hardware, and mechanical design and program teams to meet objectives.
• Drive controls requirements development, architecture, design, integration, validation, and release activities.
• Use FLIGHT DECK to drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost priorities with customer alignment.
• Mentor engineers and serve as customer interface; establish strong customer relationships.
• Document technical data per engineering policies and participate in technical and program reviews.
