Cirrus Aircraft Ltd. is seeking a Production Technician in Composites or Assembly in Duluth, MN. You will learn to use hand tools and pneumatic fixtures to assemble parts for aircraft, with emphasis on flexibility and learning new skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years related experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, military aircraft, or related fields considered.
• Knowledge of basic tools and using the proper tool for the job.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform primary assembly tasks within one discipline within 3 months.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure parts fit, clearance, alignment and performance meet design requirements.
• Clean, set up and use bonding, drilling, and holding fixtures.
• Install rivets, screws and bolts with appropriate tools.
• Route wires, cables and tubing.
• Torques hardware using various tools and test equipment.
• Follow and document aircraft build instructions.
• Wear PPE including respirator as required.
• Learn to mix and apply adhesives, resins, and sealants per instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation to standard.
